How to Start Genshin Impact Hangout Events
Genshin’s hangout events are part of the Invitation of Windblume event, which means you’ll need an Adventure Rank of 26 and have the “Song of Dragon and Freedom” quest under your belt. Unlike other update-specific events, Genshin Impact’s hangout events are here to stay. In fact, this is just the first series of hangout events. miHoYo has others planned for future updates.
Once you’ve met the start requirements, you’ll receive an in-game invitation from one of the eligible characters.
Starting a hangout event costs two Story Keys, and you can only obtain Story Keys by completing eight daily commissions and claiming a Key as your reward. That’s also available once you hit Adventurer Rank 26.
How Do Genshin Impact’s Hangout Events Work?
Hangout events revolve around learning more about that character. You’ll pick a conversation option during key moments. If you keep picking the wrong ones, their heart meter drops and the event ends.
Each event has six endings, and they all come with rewards ranging from Primogems to Ascension materials. You can replay any hangout event without spending additional Story Keys, and you can also skip to important dialogue branches without repeating everything you’ve already heard.
Note the rewards are based on the number of memories you’ve viewed. They aren’t tied to specific endings, so this is just the order we obtained them in. Choices in any branches you run across that aren’t mentioned here don’t affect how the event unfolds, so pick whatever you want.
Genshin Impact Noelle Hangout
Noelle’s hangout event is about her desire to join the Knights of Favonius. Here’s each ending and the key dialogue options that get you there.
