With chic vintage imagery of San Francisco and the bridge connecting the palette / the colors, gift giving got a lot easier. Plus with colors ranging from their various exclusive to ready-to-purchase palettes, we don’t have to worry about our gift receivers not loving everything in it. theBalm boasts a complete line of makeup, skin care, hair care and nail polish. With a “beauty in five minutes” philosophy, theBalm’s multi-use, mega fabulous products have become its calling card, offering quick fixes and wondrous solutions for a wide range of beauty wants and needs. The company’s wearable colors and fantastic formulas allow women to release their inner artist so they can look and feel fabulous. Also with a mix of talc-free shadows & blushes, paraben-free, cruelty-free shades, we can get behind a brand with good standing morals.

And here is how it works:

Firstly, choose your postcard (box palette)—these designs are all in the same vain as theBalm’s personal branding, very keepsake-esque. Designed by head designer, Mary Munoz and her team, we’re so in love with the classic approach. Personally, we love Lady and the Pug, Picture Perfect, and classically San Francisco. We mean, how could you not?

Secondly, is the really exciting part—choosing your colors. As a gift for someone say like my mother, I would pick out all neutrals because that’s all she wears. As for myself, I tend to want an explosion of colors to play with at anytime. In case you don’t like your palette, you can restart and make a new selection.

Thirdly, once your palette is filled with your desired colors—you can easily check-out and have it shipped either to yourself or to your loved one. If you plan to go into their Valencia storefront to try the colors first, you can repeat all these past steps in store.

Total, you’ll be looking at paying roughly $44 to $54 depending on the size of your palette and if you plan to ship it. All in all, a little hidden treat to impress those who you love, especially for the holidays.
