We love reading the staff recommendations and browsing the impressive cookbook section.

Besides an outstanding curated collection of art and design books from decades past, this light filled shop stocks hard to find international magazines that we are always happy to get our hands on. There is also a great selection of Bay Area related titles and lots of fun stationary. 

Smoke Signals // 2223 Polk St, San Francisco

Magazine mecca — This Russian Hill treasure has been a longstanding favorite for their incredibly dense collection of foreign and difficult to find print issues.
