The Gilmore Girls revival on Netflix is getting closer, and fans of the original series are anticipating their return to Stars Hollow. Details are slow to trickle in, but an idea of what we can expect from the revival is finally starting to take shape.

Star Lauren Graham has revealed the official title for the revival: Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. On top of that, Netflix has released a poster for the revival series to remind fans that the new episodes are coming soon.

Appearing on Ellen, Graham discussed the revival series and let the cat out of the bag regarding the name. The four-episode series had previously been known as Gilmore Girls: Seasons, a reference to the fact that each episode takes place at a different time of the year. After a bit of back-and-forth discussion about what’s changed since the original series wrapped and the new series started (including a dissection of the phrase “like it was yesterday”), Graham confirmed that the series would feature four 90-minute episodes –winter, spring, summer and fall– before revealing the title for the first time.

In conjunction with this, Netflix released the one-sheet poster for the series. Though the poster doesn’t feature any of the cast, it’s very “Gilmore”… in lieu of major cast members, it simply features a cup of coffee. Above the coffee cup are emblazoned the phrases “Live More. Laugh More. Eat More. Talk More. Gilmore.”

Even though the title and poster don’t reveal anything about the plot of the revival, it’s still a major boost to Gilmore fans who are looking for any tidbits that they can get about the new series. What information has been revealed to the fans has been handled really well, as seen in Netflix having Graham reveal the title in a fit of excitement on Ellen. Ellen seemed just as excited about the reveal as Graham was to give it.

Though there still isn’t an official release date for the series, there’s a good chance that Netflix will release one soon (along with a teaser trailer). Graham mentioned that the series was still filming, so the series will likely air in the fall at the earliest. Given how it wasn’t that long ago before a revival seemed out of reach, fans will likely have little trouble waiting a little longer to see their favorite family from Stars Hollow.
